This beautiful baby was brought to me by his father while we were conducting a cordon and search operation in a village nearby. His family had no convenient access to medical care, and the baby had a severe case of cradle cap. (I think he came to me because I am a woman... I was the only woman on that mission that day.) I tried to communicate to him how to treat the condition of the otherwise healthy baby, and he allowed me to take a picture, which I showed to one of our docs back at camp (who happened to be a pediatrician) to make sure I advised the proper treatment.
thank god he was healthy , losssing a child is the worst thing that could happen to you .
This is a wonderful shot. Again, the story you tell makes it more than just a picture.
the baby is so cute! this is such a sad portait! well done :calp:
what's the white stuff on his face?his eyes look distressed and sad, poor baby
it was a severe case of cradle cap, a condition that is common in all newborns. he was very healthy otherwise.
A beautiful yet somehow tragic photo. It's great. You do have a style that's all of your own. I see you have been busy too!
